STDs on the rise

In November of 2015, there was a STD Rates report about the number of instances of 3 sexually transmitted diseases that went up last year for the very first time since 2006; this is the primary concern of the US health department in an interview. In 2014, more than 1.4M instances of chlamydia were recorded by the USCDCP, while 2.8% was recorded in 2013. This is the highest on record so far when it comes to the cases of the STD that were reported to the CDC, this is according to the researchers during the yearly report. Primarily, there was also a rise in STD Rates recorded in the cases of syphilis by around 15% after test results, while gonorrhea is around 5%. The rates of people with syphilis are prominent among gay. This is according to a report in 2014 by the CDCs.

In the past years, they had some recorded decline in some of the diseases as well as increases in others. However, they were very much concerned about the alarming instances that they have seen in chlamydia, syphilis and gonorrhea. In 2014, there were more than 350,000 reported instances of gonorrhea, the rate is quite near 111/100,000 people. More so, there were more than 20,000 instances of syphilis at a rate of around 6/10,000 according to the report. The STDs can actually affect the younger individuals and they are usually women. On the other hand, the rising rates of men showed that there is a big part of the entire increase in the 3 kinds of STDs.

Men are the culprit for the alarming STD Rates  of spreading

They are very much concern about the rising rates among men. Men are spreading the increases this time. There is a quick dealing with the rise as they see it. Syphilis among bisexual men has been rising since the year 2000 according to a research. In2014, men were accounted for the 83% of the reported instances among men when they have sex with their partner is determined.
