Lumps

For the women, if you realize that your vaginal area has lumps and bumps, just calm down. These may probably just be not harmful at all. However, if these lumps look like warts that appear on your finger, there are chances you may be suffering from genital warts.

If what you are seeing similar to small pimples which are painless but itchy at small extends, chances are you have contracted MC, a skin to skin infection.

This is not so serious and may heal on its own but just like any other infection; you are better off getting the opinion of a professional.

State of your discharge

Before we say anything here, it is wise for you to be aware that some discharge in women is normal. They are a result of hormonal changes in the body and are meant to ensure the vagina is healthy.

But if the color of the discharge begins to change, well you better take caution.

Gonorrhea is indicated by a green or yellow discharge accompanied with pain during discharge. Thrush is shown by a white or smelly discharge.

Treating gonorrhea is easy as antibiotics to do so are available at the clinic. However, if you ignore it, both the male and female can become infertile.

On the other hand, thrush is actually not an STD. This is an infection that ought to be treated. It is caused by a yeast-like fungus residing in the vagina and causes a yellow or white discharge as well as itching and soreness. Cream and antibiotics are enough to treat it.

Itching in your private parts

Pain when urinating is an indicator of herpes, chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, a urinary tract infection or even a bladder infection and it is advised to go for STD testing.
