Female contraceptives and the rising STD cases among women

Even if there was a declining rate since 1950s, the birth rate among teens in the US is quite developed than in other advanced nations, this report was taken from the CDC. Around 41% of the reported condom use and then 16% of them said they never used any form of birth control methods.

The writers asked if the usage of the LARC may mean that some young women may use condoms and it will be more probable to get an STD of any form. When it was compared to the use of condom by the contraceptive pill consumers, females who are consuming LARC were sixty percent less likely to consume condoms. This wasn’t factual when LARC consumers stood associated to the women who are using hormonal patch and the like. The investigators have recommended that these dissimilarities might be due to the perception of the users and the effectiveness of the contraceptives in the event of using a birth control pill, the truth is that when you forgot to use it for a day or 2 is not untypical and so that might also motivate the use of condom as a support.
